Artists in Residence – Tinhela610 Summer Residency

10–17 August 2025. Our Community will be invited on the afternoon of 17 August in a very impromptu rencontre with the artists and their discoveries. More info soon.

This August, Tinhela610 welcomes five remarkable artists for a week of creative immersion in the heart of Trás-os-Montes. Working across literature, performance, music, food, and visual art, these individuals bring distinct voices and practices to the valley—each rooted in curiosity, sensitivity, and a desire to create from a place of stillness and depth.

Adèle Yon (France) is a writer whose debut novel, My Real Name is Elisabeth, became a literary sensation in France and is soon to be published internationally. With a voice both lyrical and unflinching, Adèle explores themes of identity, memory, and silence. Her work invites readers into intimate, often overlooked emotional landscapes, where the personal becomes quietly political. At Tinhela610, she continues to write from the edges—of the self, of language, and of the natural world.

Alice Artur (Portugal) is the founder of Joy Food Experiences in Lisbon, where she weaves culinary practice with ritual, storytelling, and sensory exploration. Her work blurs the lines between nourishment and art, creating immersive experiences that awaken memory, emotion, and connection. Through food, Alice speaks the language of care and transformation. https://www.instagram.com/joy.foodexperiences/

João Pedro Soares (Portugal) is a multidisciplinary artist and co-founder of Coletivo Lagar, a non-profit association grounded in collaboration and place-based experimentation. His practice spans writing and filmmaking, engaging deeply with themes of ecology. Often drawing from the landscapes and rhythms of rural Portugal, João’s work is both poetic and political, exploring the entanglements between human and more-than-human worlds.  https://www.instagram.com/jopesoares/

Aurélien Hamm (France), performing as Saint DX, is a singer, composer, and producer whose music blends synth-pop, soul, and cinematic melancholy. With a sound that is both retro and futuristic, Saint DX crafts emotional soundscapes that explore love, vulnerability, and transcendence. His music resonates like a memory—intimate, elusive, and deeply felt. https://saintdx.com/
