Wild Serenity is a full throttle, inner adventure for those who want to feel more fully alive. At Tinhela610, we step away from familiar routines and make room for curiosity, quiet and discovery. We come into nature to listen—to the river, to the woods, and to what stirs within us when life becomes simpler. We will dive into our intuitive feelings, sensations and musings in order to experience as many of our 12 senses (yes! 12) as possible.Â
I have always felt that quiet and wilderness belong together. Nature can be both wild and serene, and so can we. The river rushes, then settles into a pool. The weather changes. Nothing stays still for long. Here, we explore what happens when we allow ourselves those same freedoms: to move, to pause, to soften, to begin again.
Through meditation, movement and plenty of time outdoors, we practise paying attention. We notice sensations we usually hurry past, give our intuition a little more space and discover where we need a boundary—or the courage to step beyond a familiar one. There is time for solitude, companionship, creativity and simply being.
Drawing on the ancient yogic practices of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, we explore breath, sound, sensation and stillness as ways of returning to what is essential. We work with a framework of twelve senses, inviting a richer awareness of our bodies, our surroundings and one another. What might we discover when we become more intuitive and receptive to the life already here?
There will be small adventures: meeting the cold river, finding a quiet place among the trees, building a nest or a trail, writing a few lines, letting your voice join sound. You are invited to explore at your own pace, with respect for your limits and curiosity about your possibilities.
For me, an extraordinary life begins with being present for the one we have. This week is an invitation to do just that.
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
